The inter-Academia Conference celebrates its 10th anniversary this year!
In 2011, the Conference will be organized at "Popas Turistic Bucovina", Sucevita, between 26 and 29 September by the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iaşi, Romania. The organizers will try to keep pace with the successful series of topical, truly international conferences initiated in Bratislava, Slovakia in 2002. Since then, inter-Academia conferences, serving the Inter-Academic community and other associate academic institutions, were organized in various European countries and Japan.
The main goals of the inter-Academia conferences are to provide a well-structured international forum to review and stimulate the progress in basic and applied research in a number of domains, such as nanoscience and nanotechnology, advanced materials, mechatronics, multimedia etc. By facilitating the exchange of innovatory ideas and by establishing new scientific contacts within the consortium, significant results in solving outstanding basic and applied problems in science and technology have been reported.
During this decade, the inter-Academia community and conferences have also served educational purposes, by stimulating the students and young researchers to demonstrate their achievements in special Conference sessions, as well as to benefit from academic exchanges between partner universities.
